At first blush, a luxury accessories brand and a beloved children’s comic make odd bedfellows, but that’s part of the reason the first instructor x Peanuts collaboration sold out so quickly; the unexpected combination was light and fun. It’s always a great change of pace when fashion doesn’t take itself so seriously, and the second round of instructor x Peanuts bags and accessories, available now, are just as much fun as their popular predecessors.
The pieces have a limited color palette of black, tan, ivory, blue and yellow, with yellow backgrounds and accents reserved for pieces that feature Snoopy’s trusty sidekick, Woodstock. The rest of the colors are used for the pieces with Snoopy silhouettes, with the character rendered in small, contrasting form. It’s a minimal take on a theme that’s normally maximal.
